Update!

The last few days have been fantastic with sunshine and warm temps (up to 67 yesterday) giving us a new outlook on spring in New England.  I know it probably won't last, but I will take anything at this time of the year. The photo above is the temperature in my cold frame at 8:30 am this morning.
Today was already a busy start as I finished putting up another mini greenhouse.  A while back I had replaced a portable cold frame cover that Eric from Gardenfork had a video on last year.  That frame has worked great in covering my tomatoes that I put out when the sun is out.  Even high winds do not affect this cover.
I stapled on the cover and then used some plywood to hold down the middle area just for added security.

The next few photos show the mini greenhouse I am using for the rest of my tomato plants, which are taller and need extra space.  Someone on another site had suggested using clamps to hold down the plastic around the pvc pipes. I tried that and it works very well.  I bought a few clamps at $.79 each to try and and they work great.  We will see how things hold up when it gets windy in the next few weeks. The final photo is of a tomato that is growing very nicely so far.  I won't be too optimistic yet, as a lot can happen between now and when the tomatoes turn red, but this is still pretty neat.
