Progress

Another week has gone by, the sun is shinning brightly with temperatures getting up above 60 degrees yesterday and today.  I did start some seedlings, in fact, 72 plantings overall.  Broccoli, spinach, green onions, and my usual assortment of tomatoes.

I have continued on with the hardwood flooring, moving into the kitchen, an area that is 13x16.  The transition from the sunroom to the kitchen was pretty much painless.  The only issue I had was trying to make sure I was on line after going around a heating unit that sits under the kitchen sink.  I still have some filling in to do, but that is all hidden by the corner cabinets that will come on Tuesday.  The next difficult transition is going from the kitchen to the hall area of the living room.  The kitchen had a .25 inch luan board over the subflooring (plywood).  In the hall/walkway area of the living room, tile was but there right on top of the subflooring, with no luan between.  So there is a slight dropoff between the two rooms, which I must deal with somehow.

At the present time, I am sort of stuck with about 8-10 rows of hardwood flooring to go.
