What now?

It's the end of March, with today being the nicest day so far for this spring.  It got up to 60 degrees today, little wind and just a nice day overall.  So, guess what is coming on April 1, 2011? Yes, predictions of snow (up to 14 inches west and north of us).  So, progress in the garden is on hold, unlike last year when I already had the back nine tiled and filled with potatoes and peas.  Not so this year.  I will hold off until tax day, before I attempt to do anything in the garden.  Besides, with so many other things on the agenda, I am not pushing it to get outdoors.

I had to have the two furnaces cleaned and one had a motor replaced (the older unit).  So, another $400 to cover the cost, but at least I don't have to kick the motor anymore to get it started.

I now also have price quotes on the electrical work and plumbing for the inlaw unit.  The desire of having a claw foot tub upstairs may have to be put on the back burner as the plumber (a friend of our son in laws family) is suggesting we go with a tub and shower unit instead of a tub.  Too many problems with trying to get the tub into the room, etc, etc.

I am going to start taking down the shower and see where all the pipes are as well as taking up some of the floor as the toilet needs to be moved a foot or so for the tub and shower unit to fit in.

So, more thinking, more negotiating with the new tenants and onward we go....
