Yikes! Snow, Snow and more Snow!!

With still over a month of winter to go (as we all know we get snow in March and April up here) our peaceful homestead is under siege.  Four huge snow storms within 3 weeks and more to come has left this area like a winter wonderland, although no one wants it anymore. To top it off, temperatures have fallen below zero a number of times and rarely is getting over the 20º mark.  Enough said.  Here are some photos.

Snow on top of the greenhouse.  Amazing to me how the greenhouse is holding up. I can't get near enough to it to clear off the top.  Same with the one in the back by the pool.

Fortunately, the snow blower has been holding up well, but as one can see, the snow is above the height of the blower.

Looking out the side where the door down to the cellar is located.  That was all clear last week as we brought 17 boxes of flooring down to the cellar to store. That green container is our large garbage container.

Yup, some tomatoes and parsley still growing, but even they are wondering what is going on.

So, that is it.  We will take bets as to when all of this stuff will finally melt.  For sure, the sump pumps will be running into July this year.
