Back at it

It has been a long time since my last posting both on here and on my web page. A lot has happened in that time period that I may review at a later date. For now, I wanted to post a few pictures as Spring is finally here and it is Veggie time. Today, I finished cleaning out the back garden, after I had previously used my weedwacker to knock down the weeds. I ended up filling up 4 wheelbarrow full of weeds, but the garden is now an empty canvas (mostly) for this year's produce.

The potatoes are also up.  Hoping that they will not be over run by potato beetles as was the case last year.

I will be slowly transitioning back to this blogger post site, as our Mansfieldtrack.com and Mergansergardens.com come to an end.  This action has been coming for some time now, as the Mansfield Track and Field Program has moved on to no longer wanting to have their results posted on the web.  I feel a bit sad, as a lot of time and effort were expended keeping up the site, posting not only meet results, but school records and lots of photos.  Most of the original coaching staff from those years have moved on or retired and technology is such that postings can be done on Facebook and Twitter.  

I will try and bring over as much of my Merganser Garden input as I can, but we can only see what the future brings.  For now, I will keep updates fairly short and see if I can maintain that for the foreseeable future.
